The Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry (MDDI) has awarded TruMed Systems the gold-level Medical Design Excellence Award (MDEA) for AccuVax in the category of medical product packaging, graphic instructions, and labeling systems. The MDEA is the premier awards program for the medtech industry, recognizing significant achievements in medical product design and engineering that improve the quality of healthcare delivery and accessibility.
NOVO worked closely with TruMed and an industrial design (ID) firm to make a compact system that would meet requirements for a small footprint and simple, straightforward use. Hardware and software were developed in parallel.
